Job summary

AV is seeking a Material Control Specialist III to maintain optimal inventory levels supporting production and efficiency. You will track, analyze, and reconcile inventory records, collaborating with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to minimize discrepancies and ensure material availability.

The role involves cycle counts, data entry in ERP/MRP, and potentially packaging/shipping duties. A high school diploma and 2–4 years of related experience are required, with strong analytical

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of stockroom/inventory experience or equivalent.
• Foundational inventory management and warehouse operations knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/MRP inventory systems.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ownership and accountability for work products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to meet production and operational needs.
• Receive, count, and record stock data in the system.
• Pack/unpack items and maintain orderly stockroom.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies.
• Investigate variances with procurement, warehouse, and production teams.
• Distribute materials based on requisitions; maintain ERP/MRP data integrity.
• Possibly handle packaging/shipping (domestic and international).
• Track shipments with suppliers and expedite critical materials when needed.
• Assist in implementing inventory control policies and process improvements.
• Handle moderately difficult assignments requiring judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
