Job summary

AV is seeking a Material Planner III to maintain optimal inventory levels supporting production and operations. You will monitor cycles, reconcile records, and work with procurement, production, and warehousing teams to optimize flow and reduce discrepancies.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, data accuracy in ERP/MRP, and coordinating shipments. A high school diploma and 2–4 years of inventory experience are required, with APICS CPIM desirable and Oracle ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of inventory/stockroom experience or equivalent.
• Foundational knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Experience with MRP/ERP inventory tracking.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials meet production needs.
• Receive and count stock items; record data in computerized system.
• Pack/unpack items and stock shelves in orderly manner.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical audits to reconcile stock.
• Investigate variances with procurement, warehouse, and production.
• Distribute materials per requisitions; ensure ERP data integrity.
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP inventory records.
• Assist in packaging/shipping; may handle domestic/international shipments.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to track incoming shipments.
• Help implement inventory control policies and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
