Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise application delivery, ingress services, and edge connectivity across cloud and virtualized environments. You will own load balancing platforms, DNS integration, certificate services, and security controls while driving automation and operational resilience.

The role requires 5+ years in networking/edge platforms with the ability to work in a hybrid EY environment, collaborating with cloud, security, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting end‑to‑end application traffic flows across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments using formal incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross‑team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after‑hours changes, and on‑call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and own ingress and edge connectivity services on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, capacity, and risk.
• Troubleshoot DNS, TLS, load balancing, routing, and certificate issues affecting delivery.
• Support incident response, problem management, and major incident coordination.
• Participate in on‑call support, maintenance, and service restoration activities.
• Configure and support AWS ALB/NLB, AVI load balancers, and Azure ingress services.
