Job summary

INTECON is hiring a Senior Internal Control Analyst for the Army National Guard RMIC on-site at Arlington Hall Station, VA. The role covers end-to-end assessment cycles, regulatory reviews, risk scoring, and liaison with external auditors across 54 states and territories. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations is required.

The candidate will deliver quarterly risk reports, support audit responses, and ensure compliance with OMB A-123, FMFIA, and GAO Green Book standards. Secret clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• Eight+ years conducting internal control assessments and risk scoring in federal environments.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops, walkthroughs, and site visits.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
• Experience with OMB Circular A-123, FMFIA, GAO Green Book, or DoD FMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end statutory and regulatory compliance reviews and maintain an ARNG inventory library.
• Conduct risk workshops, walkthroughs, and gap analyses; provide policy recommendations.
• Lead full risk and internal control assessments per OMB A-123 and GAO Green Book.
• Document findings and support external audits and inspections.
• Prepare the Consolidated Quarterly Risk Report for COR each quarter.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor remediation with stakeholders.
• Coordinate RMIC activities with Army Mobile Support Team and external auditors.
• Provide on-site/remote liaison support to 54 states and ARNG HQ.
• Deliver preparation materials 30 days before travel or engagement.
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS for meetings, training, and briefings.
