Job summary

INTECON, LLC is hiring an Internal Control Analyst for the Army National Guard RMIC program on-site at Arlington Hall Station in Arlington, VA. The role requires a Secret clearance and a bachelor’s degree, with 4+ years in internal control testing, compliance review, or audit support.

The analyst will maintain regulatory inventories, perform walkthroughs and control testing, manage risk registers, and support corrective actions and audits within a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance/business or related field.
• 4+ years in internal control testing, compliance review, or audit support.
• Knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 and GAO Green Book.
• Experience evaluating and documenting internal controls in federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARNG regulatory inventory library and support statutory/regulatory reviews.
• Conduct process walkthroughs and testing to identify gaps and risks; perform gap analysis.
• Perform regular internal control assessments including tests of design and operating effectiveness.
• Create and maintain RMIC risk register under annual project plan.
• Support development of risk mitigation strategies and track remediation actions.
• Prepare monthly Corrective Action Plan status inputs for stakeholders.
• Gather assessment data from ARNG components for consolidated reporting.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for program repository.
• Prepare documentation supporting external audits and inspections of ARNG controls.
