Job summary

INTECON seeks an Internal Control Analyst to support the Army National Guard RMIC program on site at Arlington, VA. The role focuses on testing internal controls, maintaining the regulatory inventory, conducting walkthroughs, and tracking corrective actions through to closure.

The ideal candidate has several years of federal internal control or audit support experience, with knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 and the GAO Green Book, and holds or pursues CDFM/CGFM.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required.
• 4+ years in internal control testing, compliance review, or audit support.
• Knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 and GAO Green Book.
• CDFM or CGFM, or actively pursuing certification.
• Ability to perform on-site at Arlington Hall Station, VA (0800–1700 EST).

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARNG regulatory inventory library and support compliance review.
• Conduct process walkthroughs and testing to identify gaps and risks.
• Perform tests of design and tests of operating effectiveness.
• Maintain the RMIC risk register and monitor corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly Corrective Action Plan status inputs for stakeholders.
• Gather assessment data for quarterly reporting to the Army.
• Document lessons learned for the program repository.
• Prepare documentation supporting external audits of ARNG internal controls.
