Job summary

INTECON is seeking a Senior Internal Control Subject Matter Expert to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) G8 RMIC program on site at Arlington Hall Station in Arlington, Virginia. The role focuses on the annual Statement of Assurance cycle, updating guidance with regulatory changes, and documenting findings and recommendations for internal controls.

The ideal candidate has extensive federal internal control or audit readiness experience, operates as the technical authority on OMB Circular

Qualifications

• Active SECRET security clearance required.
• 12+ years of internal control/audit readiness/financial management experience in federal environments.
• Expert knowledge of OMB Circular A-123, FMFIA, GAO Green Book, and DoD Financial Management Regulation.
• Certifications: CDFM, CGFM, CIA, or CPA.
• Proven ability to evaluate and document internal controls in federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the program's principal technical authority on OMB Circular A-123, FMFIA, GAO Green Book, and the DoD FMR.
• Develop and deliver RMIC training for ARNG stakeholders per the project plan.
• Assist with annual Statement of Assurance preparation and evidence maintenance.
• Provide minutes or after-action reports within 24 hours of trainings.
• Conduct annual SA package reviews and submit by May 15.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of regulatory guidance and summarize changes for government officials.
• Incorporate regulatory revisions into internal control assessments and training materials.
• Document and maintain RMIC lessons learned and best practices.
• Submit formal notices of findings with supporting evidential matter.
