Job summary

INTECON is seeking an Internal Control Analyst for the Army National Guard RMIC program on-site in Arlington, VA. The role supports risk management, internal control testing, and regulatory compliance activities to ensure accurate reporting and remediation of control gaps.

A Secret clearance is required, with standard 0800–1700 EST hours, Monday through Friday. The candidate will maintain regulatory inventories, conduct walkthroughs, tests of design and operating effectiveness, and help document

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as stated
• Four+ years in internal control testing, compliance review, or audit support
• Knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 and GAO Green Book
• CDFM or CGFM certification or actively pursuing it
• Ability to work on-site at Arlington Hall Station, VA during 0800–1700 EST, M–F

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARNG regulatory inventory library and support statutory/regulatory reviews.
• Conduct process walkthroughs and testing to identify compliance gaps and risks.
• Perform tests of design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Maintain RMIC risk register and track corrective actions to closure.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor remediation activities.
• Prepare monthly status inputs for Corrective Action Plans.
• Gather data for quarterly reporting to the Army.
• Document lessons learned for the program repository.
• Prepare materials for external audits and inspections of ARNG internal controls.
