INTECON, an Aspetto company, is hiring a Senior Internal Control Analyst to support the Army National Guard G8 RMIC on site at Arlington Hall Station in Arlington, VA. The role oversees the end-to-end assessment cycle, including regulatory reviews, risk workshops, and scoring operational, financial, and compliance risks.

Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations is expected; the candidate will develop findings, provide corrective action guidance, and coordinate with Army RMIC teams and external

Qualifications

• Active SECRET security clearance is required.
• Minimum of 8 years conducting internal control assessments in federal environments.
• Knowledge of OMB Circular A-123, FMFIA, GAO Green Book, and DoD FMR.
• Certifications: CDFM, CGFM, or CIA.
• Experience evaluating internal controls and documenting findings.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops, walkthroughs, and site visits.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS and work on site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory and regulatory compliance reviews and maintain a regulatory inventory.
• Perform process walkthroughs, identify gaps, and deliver recommendations for policy and process improvements.
• Conduct risk and internal control assessments per standards with workshops and site visits.
• Develop detailed findings and prepare documentation to support audits.
• Produce the Consolidated Quarterly Risk Report for the COR.
• Provide corrective action guidance and monitor remediation with stakeholders.
• Gather data from components for consolidated quarterly Army reports.
• Coordinate RMIC activities with Army teams and external auditors.
