Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to lead how we inform and inspire our people. You will partner with People Ops, Recruiting, leadership and teams to translate priorities into clear, compelling messages and experiences across all internal channels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, or a related communications role.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex information clear, compelling, and human.
• Experience developing and executing internal communications strategies and programs from strategy through execution.
• Experience partnering directly with executives and senior leaders on messaging, presentations, and company-wide communications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and execute Impulse’s internal communications strategy, including channels, cadence, messaging, and programs.
• Own All Hands program end-to-end, including strategy, agenda development, speaker coordination, executive prep, and collaboration with Operations and IT.
• Own recurring internal communications, including newsletters, updates, and announcements.
• Partner with executives to communicate strategy, priorities, milestones, and changes with clarity.
• Draft and edit leadership messages, talking points, and company announcements.
