Cushing Terrell is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead how we communicate with our people across 17 offices. The role reports to the Chief People Officer and serves as a trusted advisor on employee communications, culture, and change initiatives.

Day-to-day work blends writing, editing, and strategic advising—from leadership messages to town halls, intranet updates, and recruitment marketing content in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in internal or employee communications with leadership advisory experience.
• Experience guiding executive communications and communicating through organizational change.
• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and discretion with confidential information.
• Experience managing internal channels and applying brand voice and visual standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead firm-wide internal communications strategy and editorial calendar across all offices.
• Plan, write, edit, and distribute announcements, campaigns, and employee stories.
• Develop executive messages, talking points, and town hall materials with leaders.
• Create playbooks for growth, onboarding, and first 100 days of new teams.
• Advise People team on internal comms and coordinate during emergencies with External Communications.
• Manage content, governance, and templates across intranet, email, Teams, and video.
• Develop recruitment marketing content with Talent Acquisition and ensure consistent brand voice.
