Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead firm-wide employee communications across 17 offices. You will act as a trusted advisor to firm leaders on culture and change communications, drafting leadership messages and town hall content.

You’ll build the internal editorial calendar, messaging standards, and playbooks guiding teams from announcement through day 100, with metrics to show reach and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in internal, corporate, or employee communications.
• Experience advising senior leaders and developing executive communications.
• Experience leading employee communications through significant organizational change.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling with sound judgment and discretion.
• Experience managing internal channels and applying brand voice with intranet and tools.
• Strong project and program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm-wide internal communications strategy and editorial calendar.
• Plan, write, edit, and distribute firm-wide announcements and employee stories.
• Develop executive messages, talking points, and town halls.
• Create playbooks for growth and integration; protect confidential information.
• Advise People team and leaders on internal communications and emergencies.
• Manage content standards across intranet, email, Teams, and video.
• Measure reach and engagement; manage budget and tool improvements.
