Job summary

Cushing Terrell in Billings, Montana is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead how the firm speaks to employees across 17 offices. The role reports to the Chief People Officer and serves as a trusted advisor on culture, change communications, and brand voice.

Day to day, you’ll write, edit, develop leadership messages and town halls, create recruitment content, and build an editorial calendar and playbooks to guide new teams through onboarding and their first 100 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field; 10+ years progressive internal comms.
• Experience advising senior leaders and developing executive communications.
• Proven track record leading employee comms through large org changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm-wide internal communications strategy and editorial calendar, aligning messaging with firm priorities across all offices.
• Plan, write, edit, and distribute firm-wide announcements, campaigns, and employee stories that reinforce CT's mission, values, and culture.
• Partner with firm leaders to develop executive messages, talking points, and all-firm communications.
• Build and maintain communication playbooks for growth and integration, including day one and first 100 days.
