Job summary

NAPA seeks a Senior Manager, Communications to lead internal and People communications, shaping messaging that informs and engages employees and supports a positive workplace culture. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to ensure clear, measurable communications aligned with business priorities.

You will develop strategic plans, manage change communications, and serve as the primary writer for announcements, leadership messages, and intranet content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in internal communications, writing, editing, content development, or related communications roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, brevity, and employee-centered messaging; ability to translate complex priorities into compelling communications.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight deadlines.
• Strong project management, organizational, interpersonal, influence, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience supporting organizational change communications.
• Knowledge of internal communications platforms, digital media, and social media trends.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes strategic communications plans across internal channels aligned with business priorities.
• Leads change communication workstreams from initiation through implementation and sustainment to drive adoption.
• Partners with HR, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to assess stakeholder needs, risks, and readiness for organizational changes.
• Provides strategic counsel on high-impact changes, including messaging, timing, and employee engagement approaches.
• Serves as primary writer and content creator for internal communications, including announcements, leadership messages, and intranet content.
• Maintains editorial calendar and coordinates with communications teams to ensure aligned messaging.
• Supports amplification of employer brand and key messages through social media and external channels.
• Defines KPIs, tracks metrics, and recommends improvements to communications effectiveness.
