Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States seeks an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline modeling, clash detection, and BIM governance on transit and multimodal projects.

You will coordinate between architecture, structures, roadway design, and MEP using Autodesk tools (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) and Bentley where required, mentoring staff and ensuring model integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as duties require.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor and guide production staff across offices.
• Prepare and review design drawings and project deliverables.
• Ensure model integrity and interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets.
