Job summary

TopDog Law is seeking a Senior Intake Specialist to assess exception cases where intake data is insufficient to decide on signing. You will evaluate injuries, liability, and red flags, then advise the managing attorney on whether to sign, refer, or decline, with clear reasoning.

You will interact with clients and families with empathy, handle complex calls, and document everything in Filevine for seamless handoffs and ongoing intake improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal injury law experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Consistent follow-through in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Review exception cases and dig into injuries, liability, and red flags.
• Spot commercial vehicle involvement and catastrophic or high-value potential.
• Talk with prospective clients and families with empathy, and ask the right follow-up questions.
• Give the managing attorney a clear recommendation (sign, refer, or decline) with reasoning.
• Document everything in Filevine and our intake systems, and hand off signed cases cleanly.
• Review intake calls and recommend improvements to agent training and the intake questionnaire.
• Proactively follow up with escalated clients to resolve concerns and improve client satisfaction.
