Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Oak Brook, IL, is seeking an experienced Insurance Account Manager to independently manage Premier clients in Tiers 2 and 3, focusing on renewal marketing, client questions, and annual risk assessments.

You will maintain high retention, provide technical insurance guidance, and collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and clients to recommend coverage and resolve inquiries. A state P&C license and 8 years of Personal Lines experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance.
• State Property & Casualty license is required.
• Possession of industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, CPRIA or pursuing designation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum 95% retention of client accounts through proactive engagement.
• Provide technical insurance guidance and risk assessment for clients.
• Maintain renewal expirations and avoid lapses in coverage.
• Make insurance program recommendations.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions promptly.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of coverage as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation in agency systems.
• Guide clients in submitting first reports of claims and facilitate carrier response.
• Identify exposures and recommend appropriate coverage.
