Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Bloomington, MN is seeking an experienced Senior Client Manager to independently manage Premier client accounts in Tiers 2 and 3 (HNW & Affluent). You will handle renewal marketing, client inquiries, and annual reviews with thorough risk assessments.

Responsibilities include maintaining high retention, providing technical insurance expertise, preparing proposals, and coordinating with underwriters to minimize lapses and optimize coverage.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance with understanding of coverages and rating concepts.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, CPRIA or pursue designation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of Client Accounts through proactive engagement.
• Provide technical insurance expertise and consultative risk assessment.
• Maintain renewal expirations and avoid lapses in coverage.
• Make insurance program recommendations.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions promptly and professionally.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance as needed.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management and document systems.
• Guide clients in submitting first reports of claims and coordinate carrier response.
• Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverage.
