Job summary

USI Insurance Services in the United States seeks an experienced Insurance Professional to independently manage Premier client tiers, including renewal marketing, client questions, and annual risk assessments.

You will maintain high retention, provide expert guidance on coverages, and coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely responses and accurate documentation. This role emphasizes proactive client service and adherence to USI standards.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance with understanding of coverages, underwriting and rating concepts.
• State Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, CPRIA or ongoing pursuit of designation recommended.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and minimal instruction.
• Ability to set priorities and manage workflow to ensure timely processing.
• Team-oriented with collaborative approach to client service.
• Keep informed on industry information, new products, legislation, coverages and technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of client accounts through proactive client engagement.
• Provide technical insurance expertise and consult with new and existing clients.
• Maintain renewal expirations and prevent coverage lapses.
• Make insurance program recommendations.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions promptly and professionally.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance as needed.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management and document systems.
• Guide clients in submitting first reports of claims and coordinate carrier response.
• Identify exposure to loss and advise appropriate coverage.
