Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Chicago seeks a Premier Client Manager to independently and proactively manage assigned Client Tiers 2 and 3 (HNW & Affluent), including renewal marketing, answering client questions, and conducting an annual risk assessment with the aim of reducing exposures.

You will maintain client retention, provide technical insurance expertise, respond to underwriters, prepare proposals, and ensure accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance with broad coverage knowledge.
• State Property & Casualty license required.
• Desirable professional designations (ARM, CIC, CPCU, CPRIA) or pursuit plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of Client Accounts through proactive engagement.
• Provide technical insurance expertise and consultative risk exposure assessments.
• Maintain renewal expirations and avoid lapses in coverage.
• Make insurance program recommendations and respond to underwriters’ questions.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance as needed.
• Ensure accurate agency management and document management system use.
• Guide clients on first reports of claims and coordinate carrier responses.
• Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverage.
