Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Overland Park, KS is seeking an experienced insurance professional to independently manage Premier Client Tiers 2 and 3 (HNW & Affluent). You will lead renewal marketing, respond to client questions, and conduct annual risk assessments to improve coverage and minimize losses.

The role requires 8 years of P&C experience, active state license, and industry designations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with a focus on accuracy and proactive client service.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance.
• High School Graduate. College degree preferred, but not required.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license
• Hold an industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, CPRIA or expected to pursue designation.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
• Sets priorities and manages work flow to ensure efficient processing of transactions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of Client Accounts by proactive client engagement to retain accounts.
• Provide technical expertise with service of new and existing clients and consultative approach for exposures.
• Maintain renewal expirations, avoid any lapse in coverage.
• Make insurance program recommendations.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance, as needed.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document systems.
• Provide direction to clients in submitting first reports of claims and facilitate prompt carrier responses.
• Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverage.
