Job summary

EY seeks a Manager in its Business Transformation & Growth practice to lead architecture strategy and modernization for large-scale insurance programs. You will guide target-state designs, evaluate platforms, and establish scalable integration patterns while leveraging AI to accelerate value.

You will partner with client executives and multidisciplinary teams to deliver architecture roadmaps, governance, and transformation strategies across data, applications, and cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of consulting, technology, or architecture experience.
• 5+ years in Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience as Solution/Enterprise/Technical Architect on large programs.
• Deep understanding of Life & Annuity value chain.
• Experience with policy administration platforms (PAS).
• Experience designing enterprise integration architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).
• Experience leading architecture governance and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture strategy, target-state design, and modernization roadmaps for large-scale insurance programs.
• Define scalable, secure architectures for business, data, integration, and technology domains.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Oversee end-to-end solution architecture across core platforms, cloud, data, and analytics.
• Govern architecture governance, reviews, and decision-making aligned with standards.
• Partner with delivery, engineering, product, and operations teams to mitigate risks.
• Build relationships with client executives and lead workshops and reviews.
• Mentor architecture professionals and contribute to practice growth.
