Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager to join the Business Transformation & Growth practice to lead architecture strategy and modernization for major insurance transformation programs. You will guide target-state designs, evaluate platforms, and oversee implementation while leveraging AI and cloud technologies to accelerate business value.

You will collaborate with executives and cross-disciplinary teams, define scalable architectures, and promote secure, compliant solutions across data, apps, and integration

Qualifications

• 8+ years of consulting, technology, or architecture experience.
• 5+ years in Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience as Solution/Enterprise/Technical Architect on large transformations.
• Strong understanding of Life & Annuity value chain (product, underwriting, policy, servicing, billing, claims).
• Experience with policy administration platforms (FAST, FINEOS, ALIP, OIPA, DXC LifePro, EXL LifePro).
• Ability to design enterprise integration architectures (APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture strategy, target-state design, and modernization roadmaps for large insurance programs.
• Advise executives on technology investments, platforms, and transformation decisions.
• Define scalable, secure architectures for business, data, integration, and technology domains.
• Drive AI-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across core platforms, cloud, data, and analytics.
• Establish patterns and frameworks for APIs, cloud-native solutions, and AI services.
• Govern architecture governance, reviews, and decision-making aligning with standards.
• Partner with delivery, engineering, product, and operations to mitigate risks.
• Mentor architecture professionals and contribute to practice growth.
