Job summary

HUB International in Chicago seeks an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead service, renewals, and business development for a key insurance client book. You will negotiate with carriers, manage strong client relationships, and mentor junior staff to drive retention and growth.

Requirements include 7–10 years in insurance account management, a bachelor’s degree, active licenses/CE credits, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in insurance account management.
• Licensed in required lines and states; CE credits up to date.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall service, recommendations, and renewal strategies for a book of business.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with carriers in conjunction with the Marketing Team.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
• Mentor Account Managers and Account Representatives; supervise renewal processes and client communications.
• Travel as required for client meetings and business development.
