Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager to oversee a book of commercial lines accounts and foster strong relationships with clients and carriers. You will market to carriers, prepare quotes and proposals, and respond promptly to policy inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous insurance industry experience preferred or professional business experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service and proactive relationship management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills across all levels.
• Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate positive and effective relationships with clients and carrier staff.
• Assist teambymanaging a book of commercial lines accounts, including marketing to carriers.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, respond to policy inquiries via email and phone.
• Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders; ensure accuracy of policies.
