Job summary

HUB International seeks an Account Manager to develop and maintain relationships with clients and insurance carriers for commercial lines. You will coordinate carrier marketing, quotes, and proposals, respond to inquiries, and keep renewals and files accurate.

The role emphasizes strong communication, service excellence, and proactive relationship management to support client success and growth within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Previous insurance industry experience preferred or professional business experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license; or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Excellent customer service and proactive relationship management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point-of-contact for commercial lines accounts, managing carrier marketing, quotes and proposals.
• Respond quickly to policy inquiries via email and phone; maintain renewal controls and binder expirations.
• Check policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy; maintain organized account files.
