Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to convert product decisions into precise, implementation-ready requirements for Engineering and Tech Product. This role sits at the intersection of insurance product development, operations, and technical delivery.

You will own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, coverage changes, and compliance, collaborating with teams across Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims,

Qualifications

5+ years as a business/systems analyst or similar role.
3+ years in P&C insurance.
Experience translating insurance concepts into structured requirements for Eng/Tech Product.
Experience with Agile/iterative delivery, including UAT.
Synthesizing inputs from multiple stakeholders into clearly documented decisions.
Knowledge of policy administration systems and how rating/forms/eligibility are configured.
Proficiency with Jira/Confluence/Smartsheet or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Translate business decisions into clear requirements for Engineering and Tech Product.
Own requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, and updates.
Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product reviews to ensure correct implementation.
Document current and future state processes and ensure traceability from decisions to implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and resolve ambiguity.
