Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into precise requirements for engineering and tech delivery. This role spans product development, operations, and delivery, requiring deep P&C knowledge and strong stakeholder collaboration.

You will own the requirements lifecycle across launches, endorsements, and policy configurations. You’ll partner with Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, and Engineering to ensure clarity

Qualifications

5+ years in a business/systems analyst role, including P&C insurance
Experience translating insurance concepts into structured requirements for Eng/Tech Product
Knowledge of policy administration systems and rating/configuration in production
Experience creating user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria
Experience with Agile delivery, UAT, and implementation validation

Responsibilities

Own requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, forms, rating updates, and compliance
Translate business decisions into clear requirements and functional specs for Eng/Tech Product
Lead cross-functional collaboration to gather inputs and maintain alignment to deployment
Document current-state processes and design future-state workflows
Build acceptance criteria and traceability from decisions to implementation and testing
Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product review for releases
