Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into systems that work as intended. This role sits at the intersection of insurance product development, operations, and technical delivery, requiring deep P&C knowledge and a rigorous, collaborative approach.

You will own the requirements lifecycle across products, state launches, endorsements, forms, and rating updates, working with Engineering, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, and

Qualificações

• 5+ years as a business or systems analyst, including 3+ years in P&C insurance.
• Translate insurance concepts (coverages, forms, endorsements, rating structures, eligibility) into structured requirements for Engineering and Tech Product.
• Experience in an Agile or iterative delivery environment, including requirements clarification, UAT, and implementation validation.
• Proven ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into clearly documented decisions.
• Knowledge of policy administration systems and how rating, forms, rules, and eligibility are configured in production.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or similar tools.

Responsabilidades

• Own the requirements lifecycle for insurance product and state‑configuration changes, from discovery through implementation to Engineering handoff.
• Define build-ready requirements and acceptance criteria with cross-functional teams (Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, Engineering, Tech Product).
• Build user stories, process flows, decision tables, data mappings, and traceability from decisions to testing.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product reviews to ensure changes are implemented correctly.
