Job summary
Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to turn P&C product decisions into precise, implementable requirements for Engineering and Tech Product. You’ll bridge insurance product design with technical delivery, ensuring state configurations and filings are accurately reflected in systems.
You’ll own requirements across product launches, endorsements, and rating rules, lead UAT, and collaborate with Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, and Operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a business analyst or systems analyst role, with 3+ years in P&C insurance.
- Translate insurance product concepts into structured requirements for Engineering and Tech Product.
- Experience producing user stories, process flows, decision tables, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
Responsibilities
- Own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, coverage changes, forms, and rating updates across teams.
- Become the go-to owner for accurate, implementation-ready requirements.
- Translate business decisions into clear business requirements and functional specs for Engineering and Tech Product.
- Gather inputs from multiple stakeholders to align decisions from business concept to deployment.
- Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product review to ensure correct implementation.
