Job summary

CRC Group seeks an experienced Product Manager with commercial P&C insurance experience to shape product direction and act as a hands-on owner. You will partner with business, engineering, and design to deliver roadmap items grounded in user feedback and data.

You will use AI as part of daily product tasks, manage backlogs, and communicate progress to leadership while focusing on high-impact technical strategies that meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a similar role.
• 4 years of experience in the insurance industry (wholesale, brokerage, carrier, MGA, or insurtech).
• Deep understanding of product management and adjacent areas such as business analysis and delivery.
• Excellent communication, able to present clearly and persuade.
• AI-savvy with habit of using AI tools in day-to-day tasks.
• Experience designing solutions for ambiguous problems.
• Proven ability to work strategically and in execution-focused modes.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadmap prioritization with product leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate insurance business needs into technical solutions.
• Design and recommend complete solutions to defined challenges.
• Lead product workstreams from definition to delivery.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog with clear user stories.
• Collaborate daily with engineering and design to deliver roadmaps on time.
• Lead sprint planning, refinement, and reviews.
• Develop procedures to improve controls and delivery quality.
• Apply AI tools to drafting requirements and analyzing data.
• Build and maintain dashboards tracking product KPIs.
• Report outcomes and recommend next steps.
