Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an Insurance Product Analyst IV, Product Intelligence, to help drive profitable growth for personal lines auto and property products. Remote role supporting CSAA’s Digital Experience team with data-driven insights and strategic problem solving.

You’ll access tools like SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and Excel to analyze digital product performance, build business cases, and present findings to leadership and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of analytical experience in insurance or related industries required; experience across multiple functions is preferred.
• Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses.
• Adaptability and multitasking with strong time management.
• Ability to make effective formal presentations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel and BI/Data Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) required; experience in Snowflake, Python, or R strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback as required.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, financial analysis, or related insurance or data analytics role.
• Experience analyzing digital customer behavior using Mixpanel, Pendo, or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Strong business-acumen and understanding of personal line insurance products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work across functions and manage multiple priorities.
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to innovate.
• Travels as needed for role.

Responsibilities

• Act as a thought partner to product managers and experience leaders to optimize digital experiences through experimentation and data-driven decisions.
• Perform moderately complex analysis to develop actionable recommendations for growth and profitability.
• Monitor and communicate performance and insights of digital products supporting auto and property lines.
• Assess market risks and opportunities, evaluating solutions and influencing executive decisions.
• Use SQL, Excel, Essbase, Snowflake and Power BI to access and analyze large data sets.
• Support business-case development by modeling scenarios and evaluating financial impacts.
• Apply AI tools to increase efficiency and extend analytics impact.
• Prepare clear presentations and reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes via automation and data governance improvements.
• Collaborate across Actuarial, Finance, State Product Management, Operations and others to develop new products and processes.
• Occasional travel may be required.
