You will leverage extensive trial experience and provide strategic guidance, drafting substantive pleadings and presenting persuasive arguments for insured clients and the company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
• Active license in good standing to practice law.
• Regularly handles hearings, trials, depositions, or other court proceedings.
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of higher exposure cases and complex litigation.
• Try cases to verdict or negotiate resolutions.
• Conduct advanced legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, discovery and other documents.
• Attend court events, depositions and hearings independently.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff; provide training and updates.
• Collaborate with experts to develop case strategies and testimony.
