Qualifications

• 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Strong aptitude for trying cases to a jury with a track record of favorable outcomes.
• Advanced oral and written advocacy skills; familiarity with appellate work is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of bench and local jurisdiction practices; ability to communicate complex information.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a caseload of higher exposure cases and complex litigation.
• Apply litigation skills to try cases to verdict or negotiate resolutions.
• Conduct advanced legal research and produce persuasive briefs and motions.
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with experts and claim partners.
• Travel as needed to meet business needs and represent the firm in court.
