Qualifications

• 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Active license in good standing to practice law.
• Experience handling high exposure/complex cases and trials.

Responsibilities

• Handle higher exposure cases and complex litigation matters independently.
• Apply trial skills to try cases to verdict or negotiate resolutions.
• Conduct advanced legal research and draft pleadings and briefs.
• Attend court events, depositions, and appointments independently.
• Provide case analysis and strategic recommendations to insured clients and partners.
• Collaborate with experts and prepare testimony for litigation.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff; lead by example.
• Utilize case management systems and travel as required.
