Our client, a leading international law firm, seeks an Insurance Coverage Attorney – Litigation (CA) in hybrid Irvine/LA/San Francisco offices. The role requires 3+ years of substantive litigation experience focused on insurance coverage matters, with strong research and writing skills and the ability to work independently within a team.

The candidate should have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academics, Law Review or Honors, and California bar admission in good standing

Qualifikationen

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Law Review and/or Honors required.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing (Will consider other bar admissions for seasoned candidates).
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage matters.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies and providing coverage recommendations.
• Experience drafting litigation-related documents and participating in litigation proceedings.

Aufgaben

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear, actionable coverage recommendations and conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives.
