Job summary
The Recruiting Hive seeks an Insurance Coverage Attorney – Litigation (CA) to join a leading international law firm’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Irvine/LA/San Francisco. Hybrid work setup.
The candidate should have CA Bar admission, 3+ years in insurance coverage litigation, and strong research and writing skills. You will analyze policies, draft opinions, and assist in depositions and mediations.
Qualifications
- J.D. from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
- California Bar Admission in good standing.
- 3+ years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage.
- Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
- Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations.
- Experience drafting litigation documents and handling depositions/mediations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
- Provide actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Draft interrogatories and document requests and responses.
- Review and analyze document collections for litigation.
- Communicate with domestic and international insurers.
- Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives.
