Requirements include a California‑barred JD from an ABA‑accredited school with excellent academics, 3+ years of insurance coverage litigation, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to draft coverage opinions and participate

Qualifications

• JD from ABA‑accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• California Bar admission in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
• Ability to provide coverage recommendations.
• Drafting litigation documents and participating in hearings and depositions.
• Familiarity with bad faith claims, CGL, commercial property, and E&O.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections for litigation.
• Engage in communication with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives.
