Job summary

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate/Senior Counsel to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in a hybrid setup across Irvine, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, CA. The role targets experienced Litigation Associate Attorneys with strong coverage expertise.

You will handle complex coverage disputes, draft opinions, and collaborate with domestic and international insurers, while advancing case objectives with senior attorneys in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academics
• Active California Bar Admission in good standing (others considered for seasoned candidates)
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
• Review and analyze document collections for litigation readiness
• Engage with domestic and international insurers
• Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives efficiently
