Connectly Recruiting seeks an Insurance Coverage Attorney for a leading international law firm in a hybrid role across Irvine/LA/San Francisco. The position focuses on complex insurance coverage litigation for domestic and international insurers, with opportunities to handle high-exposure matters.

Candidates should hold a CA bar in good standing, a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and 3+ years of substantive litigation experience in insurance coverage, including drafting opinions,

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Active California Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
• Experience drafting litigation-related documents
• Experience participating in depositions, mediations, and trials
• Familiarity with bad faith insurance claims, CGL, property, E&O, and D&O
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and with a team

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers
• Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision
