Job summary

Kin Insurance, Inc. is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate insurance product decisions into clear, implementation-ready requirements across product, actuarial, underwriting, and engineering teams.

You will own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, and form changes, ensuring accurate translation from business decisions to system behavior. You will collaborate across Insurance Product, Compliance, Claims, Operations, and Tech Product to

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or similar role in P&C insurance.
Experience translating insurance product concepts into structured requirements for Engineering/Tech Product.
Knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle and policy administration systems.
Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and documentation.
Experience partnering with Engineering/IT in an Agile delivery environment, including UAT and validation.
Ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and surface ambiguity early.

Responsibilities

Own requirements lifecycle for insurance products, state launches, endorsements, and policy changes.
Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product review to validate changes before release.
Translate business decisions into clear requirements and functional specs for Engineering and Tech Product.
Document current and future state processes and manage changes throughout delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment from decisions to deployment.
