Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into robust, implementable requirements across insurance product development, operations, and technology delivery. You will bridge the gap between product design and engineers, ensuring accurate, implementation-ready specifications for new products, filings, and state changes.

You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, drive clarity, and maintain alignment from decision through

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a business analyst or systems analyst role
Experience translating insurance concepts into structured requirements for Engineering/Tech Product
Knowledge of policy administration systems and rating/forms/rules configurations
Experience partnering with engineering/IT in an Agile environment
Ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into clear decisions

Responsibilities

Own requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, and coverage changes
Translate business decisions into clear business requirements and functional specs
Lead UAT planning, scenarios, and product reviews to ensure correct implementation
Document current and future-state workflows and manage changes during delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, and Engineering
