Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines for a remote role serving Eastern and Central Time Zones, with onsite support in Longwood, FL as needed. You will back the account team, manage renewals, endorsements, and client submissions while ensuring accuracy and service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of customer service in insurance, active licensing (CISR preferred), and strong MS Office skills to support policy management and client

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: client research, submissions, pricing, and proposals; bind coverage.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and pursue collections as needed.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status with the account team and stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures; seek improvements.
