Job summary

Worley seeks a Senior Workface Planner - Instrumentation to drive detailed planning for instrumentation construction, installation packages, and field readiness. You will align engineering, procurement, and construction with project schedules to maximize productivity and safety on major energy projects.

The role emphasizes planning excellence, sequencing, and collaboration across engineering, procurement, project controls, and field teams to ensure predictable execution and successful turnover

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Typically 7+ years of industrial/construction experience.
• Experience developing IWPs and CWPs and related planning deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, P&IDs, and instrument indexes.
• Experience across energy, LNG, refinery, petrochemical, mining, or similar sectors.
• Solid understanding of AWP, CWPs, IWPs and workface planning methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex information into executable field work plans.
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, project controls and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instrumentation workface planning strategies.
• Prepare and maintain Installation Work Packages (IWPs) and related documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, materials, construction and project controls.
• Verify drawings, materials, permits, equipment and tools before release to field.
• Ensure work packages align with schedules, milestones and workforce needs.
• Identify constraints and develop mitigation plans with teams.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans for changing conditions.
• Participate in planning meetings, readiness reviews and constructability assessments.
• Support productivity improvement through sequencing and resource planning.
• Provide guidance to field supervisors and stakeholders; forecast labor/material needs.
• Coordinate instrumentation installation activities and turnover requirements.
