Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead design and optimization of control systems for diverse facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design data while ensuring codes and standards compliance.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers in a multi-disciplinary team. The role includes on-site startup support, mentoring junior professionals, and leading project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with mission critical control systems including BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation and document design information.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and designers to deliver complete control system designs.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and help lead project teams.
