Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking a senior field technician to manage one or more operational compression jobs, with direct responsibility for instrumentation and electrical maintenance on compressor packages and gas processes. The role may backfill other field positions as needed.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting motor controls, performing PMs/MMs, and coordinating with Supply Chain for parts while maintaining client relationships. Some travel and on-call rotations are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and electric starters, electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, ignition systems and other compression related anatomy.
• Preferred OEM, trade school and/or 5+ years experience in a related field/industry.
• Completion of Kodiak SSE program plus minimum 3 years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and perform job activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical motor controls and complex electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, major overhauls, and MOB/DEMOB as part of a team.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues and instrumentation systems.
• Maintain safe working environment and comply with HSE procedures.
