Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services in Midland, TX seeks a fully proficient senior technician responsible for compressor packages, gas processes, and related rentals. You will lead instrumentation and electrical maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and perform preventive maintenance and major overhauls with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience with gas compression equipment, NEC knowledge, and strong problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with pneumatic and electrical starters and related systems preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of gas processes and compressor equipment.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) structure and logic.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and maintenance of compressor packages and related gas processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and major overhauls with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems; repair instrumentation.
• Coordinate with Area/Regional Managers for budgeting and planning.
• Maintain documentation and reports per company procedures.
