Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a senior field technician to manage operational compression jobs, oversee compressor packages, and provide technical leadership in gas processes and maintenance. You will engage in complex diagnostics, coordinate with leadership, and backfill lead roles as needed.

The role requires deep mechanical aptitude, advanced electrical troubleshooting, and strong communication skills to support 24/7 operations, with an emphasis on safety and customer relations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• SSE program completion plus 3 years field experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of gas processes and compressor mechanics.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities aligned with Kodiak's goals and procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls and operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Participate in all HSE activities; act as Safety Expert and role model.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships; ensure 98% mechanic availability.
• Provide input on personnel needs and budget planning.
