Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Sr. Inside Sales Representative, FDO in San Francisco to help the sales team manage the full sales cycle.

You will work with outside sales to prepare new equipment proposals, quotes, and customer inquiries while expanding existing accounts and driving quality leads to the front line. You will also coordinate with order entry, marketing, and finance to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required (Business, Engineering, Marketing, Communications preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of work experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of technology including software, hardware, and/or networking is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the sales pipeline to meet revenue goals and qualify leads for assignment.
• Build quotes and proposals to bid on new business opportunities and generate incremental revenue.
• Coordinate with outside sales and marketing to develop customer databases and target segments.
• Assist with order entry, CRM data accuracy, and post-sales actions including invoice disputes.
• Support events like tradeshows and training sessions; help with materials and logistics.
