Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Sr. Inside Sales Representative to support the sales team through the entire sales cycle, helping outside reps maximize time with customers. You will prepare quotes, proposals, and manage inquiries while maintaining and expanding existing accounts to retain business.

This role interfaces between the office and sales operations and order entry teams to drive productivity. You will be the first contact for urgent requests, coordinate with marketing on collateral, and support

Qualifications

• BA or BS required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of work experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of technology including software, hardware, and/or networking is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the sales pipeline to meet revenue goals; qualify leads for assignment to frontline sellers.
• Build quotes and proposals to bid on new opportunities; price products and manage quotations.
• Maintain and expand existing customer accounts; assist with post-sale actions and invoicing issues.
• Coordinate with marketing for collateral and target market segments; support CRM data accuracy and order follow-through.
• Assist outside sales reps with mis-ships, damaged shipments, and startup coordination.
